Project of the Italy-France Maritime Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013

The project operated within the framework of the Italy-France Maritime Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 with the aim of supporting the development and creation of business networks and collaborations in the geographical area covered by the Italy-France Maritime OP (Liguria, Corsica, Sardinia, Tuscany and PACA) in the economic sectors of nautical industry, tourism, nanotechnologies, green and blue energies and biotechnologies.

The project activity was launched in November 2014 by the partnership consisting of Filse Spa, UnionCamere Liguria, Promocamera – Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, Chambre de Commerce et Industrie de la Haute Corse and Pontedera & Tecnologia – PONT – TECH.

To foster collaboration and relationships between businesses in the participating territories, the partnership required the involvement of the entire regional economic system.

• Involvement of SMEs in further planned initiatives, currently being defined.
• the accession of Polish, German, French, Spanish and Finnish marine/maritime clusters.
