Pross-border Project: Italia – Francia Marittimo 2007 – 2013

The project was launched in 2010 and its main activity was the creation of an innovative online services platform (cloud computing) capable of allowing companies in the nautical sector of the upper Mediterranean basin to use advanced design techniques.
The project's goal was to create a network of technological districts in the regions of Liguria, Tuscany, Sardinia, and Corsica, through the creation of a cross-border Mediterranean hub/cluster capable of providing shared services and developing territorial governance activities to assess and predict real needs and leverage existing opportunities for the development of the nautical sector.

DLTM activity:

• development of the networking (WEB) of the project resources available in the supercomputing laboratory
• implementation of seminars and events to promote innovation and technology transfer
• support for the activation of specialized spin-offs from the University of Genoa
