POLI PROJECT

Poli project – Por Fesr 2014-2020 Axis 1.2.4 Research and Innovation – Project dedicated to the animation of the hubs, implementation of specialized services, marketing activities to attract new businesses and promote services, and networking initiatives.
DLTM, as the Managing Entity of the PoloDLTM, has prepared its proposal for 18 months (starting from April 2020), divided into 4 Work Packages:
- WP1: Roadshow for Innovation: Two important opportunities for meeting and discussion were organized, also with the participation of the other Ligurian hubs, with the local stakeholders involved in providing and conveying project and business growth/recovery opportunities to the regional business community, in view of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
- WP2: Higher education, seminars, workshops and dissemination events and were organized:
- numerous events and networking opportunities for its members, including SeaFuture, the Sea Day, technical workshops held in collaboration with Atena and seminars held together with the BIG Cluster on European planning;
- technical courses based on specific needs expressed by members: from the Electrical Engineering course for the Intermarine company to the Cloud Computing course created at the request of the PoloDLTM Start 4.0 competence center, to the specialized course for the use of OpenFoam.
- WP3: Marketing activities and networking actions with national clusters, competence centers, European networks and regional districts:
- Activities were carried out in synergy with other Regional Hubs (RoadShow and Seafuture), a project proposal for the SpaceEconomy initiative was presented with the SIIT, Ticass and Liguria Digitale districts/hubs; project proposals were presented with the Tuscan NAVIGO district, Friuli Venezia Giulia, MARE FVG, and the Start 4.0 Competence Center as part of the European Digital Innovation Hub.
- During the Seafuture event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the French cluster Toulon Var Technologies for a range of joint initiatives, including participation in projects of mutual interest.
- Regarding the activities of the Cooperative Research Laboratories, the HPC and NAVE Laboratories continued to offer services, primarily of an engineering, calculation, and cloud computing nature, to member companies that requested them not only for specific activities, but also for project needs.
- The SMEs associated with the Tecnomar Consortium have been included in the EEN – European Enterprise Network network and an intense activity has been carried out aimed at profiling the interested companies following the presentation of the initiatives (Call Horizon with dedicated support from EEN and the Chamber of Commerce of Riviere di Liguria as well as from the Hub itself.
