Pross-border Project: Italy – France Maritime 2013 – 2015
The SERENA 2.0 project is a cross-border cooperation project involving several Italian and French territories (Genoa, La Spezia, Lucca, Pisa, Cagliari, Sassari, and Ajaccio).
The overall objective of the project is to develop two thematic cross-border networks, one for employment and one for education and vocational training, to improve the quality and quantity of access to public services for citizens and businesses and to promote the expansion of training and employment opportunities. The project aims, through specific actions, to stimulate cross-border mobility and encourage economic integration in the nautical sector and institutional integration in the area of active employment, education, and training policies.
One of the main objectives of the Serena 2.0 project is the creation of a cross-border network of highly specialized centers for the training of technical skills in the nautical sector, located in Liguria, Sardinia, Corsica, and Tuscany.
The DLTM was responsible for creating the Ligurian training center in La Spezia - "Design-Production: engineering and design of boats", located at the "ITS New Technologies for Made in Italy" in Via Doria 2, through the creation of a laboratory called "LABORATORIO SERENA" equipped with cutting-edge hardware and software equipment useful for nautical and naval design through access to the applications present on the Cloud platform developed within the project.
